The Remedy feat, CIEL + Yumi and the Weather

With its members originating from The Netherlands, Spain and the UK, the indie-rock three piece CIEL ultimately met on the South Coast of England where they distilled their differing backgrounds and influences into grunge-pop finery. Straddling the creative baggage of three countries' scenes, whilst not really feeling like they belong to any of them, CIEL’s music has a nagging yet fresh, dark and sometimes quietly glorious quality to it.

Yumi and The Weather conjure up a storm of emotion and a squall of frenetic guitar live and on record. Ruby Taylor should be acknowledged as the UK's St Vincent. Amazing songs articulate an amazing vision. Every show is unmissable.” - John Kennedy, Radio X/the Remedy

Jess Spink

Jess Spink

Rising independent singer-songwriter Jess Spink has an authentic approach to songwriting producing emotionally raw lyrics combined with captivating melodies and textured electronic production. She speaks to her generation, channelling her own life experiences of the highs and lows of transitioning into adulthood and navigating relationships into her music. Jess has spent the last year refining this sound, working in collaboration with a variety of producers and co-writers in London.

With a SOLD OUT headline London show, continued BBC Introducing support and a debut EP with half a million streams under her belt, Jess is finishing her second EP showcasing fresh electropop with influences of R&B and her singer-songwriter roots. Jess' warm, down to earth nature makes her easily relatable and her ability to express both her fire and emotional vulnerability shines through in her live performances. Jess has performed her music around London at venues including Half Moon Putney and Notting Hill Arts Club.

Ella Eliza

Ella Eliza is a German-born and now London-based singer, songwriter and producer. LGBTQIA+ club night featuring Fightmilk (live)

As best friends Lily and Alex met in the beer gardens of London in 2015 they turned their recent respective breakups into Fightmilk, creating an indiepop soundtrack by which to navigate millennial life. Their first two EPs – self-released in 2016 and through uber-indie label Fierce Panda – strode ahead of signing to Reckless Yes and the release of debut album Not with That Attitude in November 2018. The record is a perfectly written sequel to the chaos and shamble of relationships that we can all relate to, wrapped in anthemic power-pop riffs.

Fans and music writers have recognised the alt-rock TUNES contained in this all killer, no filler album, as it resonated strongly with emotions and encouraged even the most staunch of wallflowers onto the indie disco dancefloor. With a tranch of reviews and huge support from Steve Lamacq, the debut almost instantly built a solid fanbase for the band. For the Rabbits captured why they’d found themselves clutched to so many lonely hearts, saying the track Your Girlfriend is “one of the finest examples of mixed emotions you’ll hear put to record, as a combination of sadness, joy, resentment and lust collide into a melting pot of pure honesty.”

The band has since played dates supporting Art Brut, and at Cro Cro Land Festival. With more dates later in 2019 and writing on the follow up underway if you haven’t already you need to get this band in your ears and your life.

Framatics + Lemon Power + Dunebug

Hailing from London, Framatics are an alternative rock band that blend anthemic, indie-inspired choruses with thundering beats and raw guitars.

Lemon Power is a London based spaghetti western indie rock, 5-piece band. The focus is on playing live and throw a hell of a show every time.

The core of Lemon Power is DIY, rough, and fresh; most definitely not-polished and not-cute. Each song is a short movie.

Very active in the London live scene. Lemon Power has played the Windmill Brixton with members of the Fat White Family, the Old Blue Last with the Bug Club, headlined at the George Tavern, the Dalston Victoria.

Hailing from the sonically vibrant streets of Manchester, Dunebug is the debut solo project of Chi Limpiroj; inspired by the likes of Cat Power, Feist, Beach House, Soccer Mommy, Japanese Breakfast, Snail Mail and Jay Som. A self-taught DIY producer at heart with a background in sound recording, her debut EP graces the ears with an unkept and unprocessed body of beautifully elegant and textured layers. The sense of comfort and warmth is reflected in the cosy bedroom environment in which it was created, an honest and cathartic first offering from an extremely talented new artist. Working previously under the name Chi & the Twelfth Wall, Chi has supported the likes of Lucy Rose, Slow Club, Roddy Woomble around Manchester and Leeds, as well as a first international set at Magneet festival in Amsterdam. Following the break-up of the first band, a five-year hiatus from music ended with a move to the capital, which started the journey of her latest sonic endeavour: Dunebug. After recently assembling a live band for performances, she is now ready to take her notes of folk, shoegaze and ambient acoustics to the world.

Wolf Culture

Wolf Culture is an alternative rock band formed in Bournemouth, England. Since their debut EP "The Devil's Plans For Idle Hands" (2018), the band has shared stages with bands such as Tonight Alive, ROAM, Milestones, Boston Manor, WSTR, Hawthorne Heights, Trophy Eyes, Like Pacific and Raiders to only name a few.

The band rapidly gained momentum within the British alternative music scene after the premiere of their single “Wreck” on Alternative Press. With the follow-up single “Continents” hitting their sound home with listeners across the globe after debuting on Punktastic. They were featured in Rock Sound Magazine, in addition to 3 consecutive issues of Kerrang! Magazine and even being immortalised in the famous “Pandora” comic strip.

2020 saw Wolf Culture enter the studio with the talented Neil Kennedy (The Ranch Productions) to create their highly-anticipated sophomore EP "Dying in the Living Room" featuring the fan-favourite track "Rain Dance" and "Ultimatum" which features Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens. The EP debuted via Substream Magazine to an influx of  positive reviews.

Their most recent release, the"Bloodhounds" EP showcases the band's ability to introduce elements of other genres to their sound. With tracks such as "WHITE GOLD" and "VENOM" cementing the band's obsession with creating quality tracks that feel intensely personal whilst also delivering their signature bitter-sweet twist.

The Remedy (Gemma Cullingford + Teenage Sequence + Office for Personal Development)

"Very excited at the prospect of this night of electronic edged excellence! A triple headliner of three of the most interesting artists working in electronic music today. The extraordinary Office For Personal Development kick things off with their motivational electro-pop that will set up the night, if not the year, inspirationally. Their performance power is strong! The brilliant Gemma Cullingford then goes deeper with her confessional post punk dance maelstrom that has already given us two fantastic albums. And to round things off Teenage Sequence will grip us with his LCD Streets agit glitch pop that will have us skipping into the night feeling invincible, ready to change the world. Fearless fun for 2023! We got The Remedy!"

Carsick

Carsick are a band formed over pints in a small English pub in late 2021. Stylistically, they take influence from a range of different artists and genres – from indie rock to post-punk to hip-hop with electronic elements – but their tongue-in-cheek lyrical approach directly tackles the trials and tribulations of life as a young adult, and especially the drinking culture which dominates the band’s demographic. Their energetic and unpredictable live shows match that theme: this is music about living for the weekend; about the desperate chaos of small-town nightlife and about forgetting what happened last night.

Slaney Bay

Fusing soft, introspective lyricism with effervescent, ear-worm riffage, South-West London based trio Slaney Bay are ready to cement their place within the alt-indie landscape. The band consists of 3 childhood friends: Caitlin Whitley (lead vocals and guitar); William Nicola-Thompson (lead guitar); and Joel Martin (backing vocals and bass).

Building on from the success of their first 3 singles, the group’s huge potential is laid bare on their infectious new single ‘I Could Love You Better’, which received praise from BBCR1 (Jack Saunders), Billboard, Line of Best Fit and Dork. The band are now gearing up for the release of their debut EP, in which the band explores the hardships of growing up. Embracing both the good and the bad, knowing it’s all of these experiences that make ‘A Life Worth Living’ (out 11th November).

“This band have got bangers!” (Jack Saunders, BBC Radio1)

MYTBE
South London’s MYTBE fuses the downbeat, smoky jazz of Chet Baker with the open-hearted lyricality of singer-songwriters like Laura Marling and Lianne La Havas. The daughter of a jazz musician, she is an artist that values authenticity above all. Intent on dismantling the awkwardness surrounding intimacy, she shares the unfiltered parts of the human experience, the aspects that polite society brushes under the carpet.

LAWRN

Dreamy pop from the heart. LAWRN are an alt pop band from London. Andy, Ollie and Harm formed LAWRN in 2018 and released their first EP Pretty Things in 2019. It's dreamy synth pop with influences from the 80s sounds, love and 90s fashion.

Just vibes.

Reno & Rome
UK four-piece power-pop outfit Reno & Rome ride the line between anthemic indie-rock and swaggering 80s pop. Flaunting stereo-chopped guitars, driving beats & infectious vocal hooks wrapped up in an energetic and unforgettable live show. I was first introduced to the band in 2019 when they applied to play at my ‘545’ night at The Apex and ever since I saw them play live for the first time, I was hooked. They’re regulars on the NMG radio show playlist and I look forward to working with them on consolidating their presence across East Anglia because their live show really needs to be seen to be believed.

Edho

Edho is a London based indie pop artist that takes musical inspiration from indie rock pillars such as the National as well as the electronic French touch of French 79 and dreamy sounds of M83. His first single, Naked, was released in October 2021. HIs second single, True Colours was released in March 2022.

h. eldritch
For years the dark bird drifted with the wind, never wanting to plant its feet. h. eldritch is a restless soul.

h. eldritch is a project by singer, songwriter and producer Harry Houseago, existing on the fringes of indie folk, dirty electronica and ambient music. Weaving cryptic tales of tragedy between swirling ambience and whirring, fizzing electronics, he stands alone on the stage, flitting between guitars, synths, drums, and a microphone, bringing his indie electronic orchestrations to life as if you were in the studio creating them with him. His unmistakable sound and unforgettable live show won him an opening slot on the main stage of the Bath Festival 70th Anniversary weekend, headlined by Paloma Faith and Robert Plant.
