Signature Brew Wins Brewery Of The Year Award At SIBA BeerX
We're absolutely delighted and humbled to have picked up two highly prestigious awards from the Society of Independent Brewers.
As well as taking home the award for Marketing Implementation, we also took the coveted top spot of SIBA's Brewery Business of the Year 2018 – the highest accolade the association can give.
SIBA's panel of expert judges told the Morning Advertiser that Signature Brew stood out for its 'fresh ideas, keen business acumen and a genuinely unique approach to running a brewing business.'
The panel described Signature Brew as the majority favourite, citing our innovation and business growth as key indicators of 'an already flourishing brewery on its way to greatness.'
Our co-founder Tom Bott spoke to the MA, saying, "For people to recognise our vision to get quality craft beer into music venues and spread our message is amazing and we are thrilled it struck a chord with judges. This is huge recognition."
The Marketing Implementation trophy was awarded for our pioneering band collaborations, as well as our mission to bring craft beer to new audiences through our partnerships with Slam Dunk music festival (which saw us tow a beer bar behind a tour bus to the Leeds, Birmingham and Hertfordshire dates) and Independent Venue Week (which saw us stocked in hundreds of music venues throughout the UK).
Signature Brew were also recognised as finalists for the Individual Design for our Anthology imperial stout and Concept Design for our core range.
We topped the night off with a buzzing tap takeover at Liverpool's Dead Crafty Beer Co, which saw our core beers Roadie, Backstage IPA, Studio Pilsner and Nightliner pouring on the taps.
The team here is understandably thrilled to have been recognised by SIBA and we're excited to reveal our plans for the rest of 2018.
