On Thursday 18th March, the Society of Independent Brewers hosted their annual awards ceremony that gives recognition to independent breweries across the UK, and we're thrilled to announce Signature Brew picked up two huge awards. 

For those who are unaware, the SIBA Awards are judged by a panel of independent beer industry experts, managed by not-for-profit trade association the Society of Independent Brewers. The awards cover everything from brewery marketing, design, innovation, and are recognised on a national level. 

And with that said, we are incredibly thrilled & humbled to announce Signature Brew won the highly prestigious award for Brewery Business Of The Year – making us the only brewery to win it twice, having first claimed the title in 2018.

We also picked up the highly-contended award for Best Marketing Implementation for our Lo-Fi 'Free Beer For Friends' campaign. We're also the only brewery to win the big marketing award twice. 

Signature Brew’s Co-Founder Tom Bott accepted the award via an online Awards ceremony which took place on the night and, he had this to say on our win...

The last 12 months have been exceptionally turbulent and difficult for everyone in the industry and we couldn’t be prouder to work in a sector as resilient and innovative as the craft beer community. The judging panel of industry experts commented “This brewer has had an incredible year, tackling COVID head on, both to keep itself afloat and to help others affected.” and went on to cite our innovative approach to tackling the pandemic paired with our altruistic campaigns as the two key factors that set us apart from the nominees.

The award is very much one for the team as it’s their hard work, creativity and dedication that led us to turning the most challenging scenario the craft brewing sector has ever faced into a success for the company. Success is no jobs being lost, our company growing and our community being supported via our actions.
