Beer & Music: Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs / Bigfoot Festival 2021
We're hosting our very own stage at Bigfoot Festival 2021 on June 18-20, and by this point we're practically counting down the days.
Ahead of taking our beers and some bands to Warwickshire, we caught up with some of the most exciting artists playing our line up to have a chat about all things beer and music.
So, with that in mind, we have a chat with guitarist Adam Ian Sykes from Pigs x 7, the 5-piece punk band hailing from Newcastle Upon Tyne, who you can see headline our stage at Bigfoot in June.
If you were going to make a beer for your band, what kind of beer would it be and why? What would you call it?
Adam Ian Sykes: "It would be sensible, above all else. We would call it ‘Sensible’."
What’s the best local brewery/bar/beer from where you’re from?
Sykes: "We’re lucky to have Almasty on our doorstep. With regards to bars, the Mean Eyed Cat is without doubt our favourite."
How excited are you for gigs and festivals to come back?
Sykes: "Right now it feels like the only way to break the curse."
Which other artists are you hoping to catch at Bigfoot festival and why?
Sykes: "We’re looking forward to seeing our friends Big Joanie and JOHN."
Do you normally have beer on your rider? If so, what kind of beers do the band enjoy?
Sykes: "We do. We ask for four Stella and a selection of ‘craft’ beer. Everyone’s definition of craft is different and so we’re at the mercy of the promoter."
